Hastings® Paradox® Sabot Discarding Chokes improve smooth bore performance when using sabot slug ammunition. Sabot slug ammunition performs best with projectile rotation to effectively discard the sabot outside the muzzle. For those customers desiring one barrel for all game, Hastings® now offers a 5" rifled choke with the same internal specifications as our premium barrels. While performance shoud not be confused with that of a fully rifled Paradox® barrel, this rifled choke offers the smooth bore hunter the flexibility to convert his existing barrel for big game use.
